Why couples coaching?

After years of ministry as a married couple we know that ministry, especially pioneering ministry like church planting, places enormous pressure on relationships. It can test even the best of marriages. Jane and I are interested in working with couples together to invest in their relationships. We are passionate about helping couples work through the complex issues that come about through being a family in ministry.

Jane and I have completed training in the PREPARE ENRICH marriage enrichment tool. This tool is a great place to begin a conversation about the strengths and challenges of a marriage relationship. Jane is one of the founding members of Parakaleo Australia, an organisation that works with women who are in church planting ministries. Parakaleo has developed some great tools to help women, and is really well thought out about what it means to be a woman in a church planting family.
