Generation Leadership was founded in 2016. I chose that name because of my passion to raise up the next generation of leaders, men and women who will lead the Australian church into the middle of the 21st century and beyond. We stand at such a crucial time in the history of the Church in this country, and I feel that God has called me to use the time and energy I have to make a contribution to that task.

The Lord has given me two spiritual gifts: the gift of teaching and the gift of leadership. And I love it when I have the privilege of using those gifts together. Teaching on leadership is a delight for me, and I welcome opportunities to do that.

I'm married to Jane, and we have served together in vocational ministry for over 35 years. I was ordained in the Anglican Diocese of Sydney in 1989, and since then have served in local church ministry.  We developed Darling Street Anglican Church in the inner western suburbs of Sydney, then we served in the parish of Crinken in Dublin, in the Republic of Ireland. For almost ten years I was the Rector of St John's Darlinghurst, a challenging, diverse and complex ministry in the inner city of Sydney. As part of that role, I was the Director of St John's Community Services, an organisation which serves the homeless and marginalised community of the city.

Currently I am serving with City to City Australia, as the Lead Consultant on the 'Revitalise Australia' programme, and also Sydney City Catalyst. Jane and I live in Hurlstone Park, on the banks of the increasingly lovely Cooks River. Take a look around the website and consider how we could work together.
